  • 2017

    Foundation

    Kunal Khanna & Co. was founded in 2017 with a focused practice in litigation, intellectual property prosecution, and enforcement. The firm began advising Indian and global clients on trademarks, copyrights, designs, patents, commercial disputes, and allied advisory work.

  • 2022

    LCIA Linked Injunction - Hon'ble Delhi High Court

    The firm represented One Moto in a major trademark and distributorship dispute involving the "ONE MOTO" brand and allied marks such as ELECTA, COMMUTA, RYDA, SCOOTA, DELIVA and BYKA. The matter involved urgent interim protection before the Hon'ble Delhi High Court in proceedings connected with LCIA arbitration.

    Pre-Institution Mediation Ruling

    The firm appeared for the respondent in Yamini Manohar v. T.K.D. Keerthi, a leading Section 12A Commercial Courts Act matter on pre-institution mediation and urgent interim relief. The decision has become a frequently relied-upon authority in commercial and IP suits seeking exemption from pre-institution mediation.

    Quashed Trademark Criminal Proceedings against Ex-Deputy Registrar

    The firm successfully represented the former Deputy Registrar of Trade Marks in proceedings arising from the long-running Colgate-Anchor dispute concerning a trademark registration certificate and colour representation issue. The Hon'ble Delhi High Court quashed the criminal complaint and summoning order in May 2024.

    Anti-Counterfeit Enforcement

    The firm expanded its anti-counterfeiting practice and handled over 100 enforcement actions for leading brands across automobiles, pharmaceuticals, food products, garments, and allied industries, including actions for Hero entities and other major brand owners.

  • 2025

    ELFY Trademark Dispute

    The firm represented the Indian trademark holder in the long-running "ELFY" dispute involving a Pakistani claimant. The Hon'ble Delhi High Court set aside the earlier IPAB order and allowed the Indian registration to continue on the Trade Marks Register.

  • 2026

    Expansion into Personality Rights, Patents, Arbitrations and Commercial Advisory

    In 2026, the firm expanded its partnership and strengthened its practice in personality rights, patent disputes, patent prosecution, arbitration, due diligence, acquisitions and broader commercial advisory work. The firm handled significant personality rights matters, including the case of Senior Advocate Mr. Vikas Pahwa, where the Hon'ble Delhi High Court protected his name, image, identity and professional persona from online misuse and financial fraud.

    The firm also represented the Shree Swaminarayan Sarvopari Siddhant Digvijay Trust in the Karan Satsang matter, where the Hon'ble Delhi High Court restrained a breakaway group from using "KARAN SATSANG", "SUKHMAY KARAN SATSANG", "SSKS" and from misusing the name, image and likeness of HDH Bapji.
